Press release, Hamburg, Germany, 11 June 2025: esome and AudienceProject expand their partnership to take Connected TV (CTV) measurement to the next level. By leveraging AudienceProject’s cross-media measurement technology, esome can now link CTV and social media campaigns, enabling in-flight campaign optimisation across the channels for the first time.

With the expanded partnership, esome will focus on controlling the campaign reach and contact frequency, as well as the targeting quality of integrated CTV and social media campaigns.

AudienceProject’s continuous measurement will help esome recognise, within a very short time, whether CTV inventories overlap with each other or with social media inventories and to what extent. This enables cross-channel optimisation of the net reach as well as the contact frequency of integrated campaigns.

In addition to age and gender, esome can also measure other socio-demographic characteristics of CTV viewers and social media users, such as household income and the number of children in the household, to validate the targeting quality of the campaigns and optimise based on this.

On top of that, esome can utilise AudienceProject’s cross-media measurement technology, including aggregated reach numbers for linear TV and co-viewing on CTV, to prove the quality of its cross-device targeting solution. By measuring the reach and frequency as well as the overlap of integrated campaigns, esome can now document the incremental reach generated with campaigns using its cross-device targeting solution.

“We are delighted to expand our partnership with AudienceProject”, explains Andreas Hamdorf, Lead Strategic Partner Management at esome. “AudienceProject is leading the innovation of cross-media measurement in Germany, especially in the area of CTV, and we are very excited to see the first results of their new co-viewing measurements. This will make our audience measurement even more precise and help ensure that CTV budgets can be planned and purchased even more efficiently.”

“We are excited to deepen our collaboration with esome and take their audience measurement to the next level”, says Michaela Schmitz, Managing Director, DACH. “We want to empower marketers to make confident marketing decisions and reach their audience more effectively, and by offering measurement across CTV and social media, including co-viewing on CTV, marketers will now be able to continuously measure and optimise their reach across these channels for greater advertising efficiency.”
